JUST IN: Bobrisky Transferred To FCID After Seme Border Arrest

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, is currently being held in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos. A reliable police source informed Channels Television that Bobrisky spent the night in a cell at the police facility.

According to the source, Bobrisky was arrested by officials from the Nigeria Immigration Service while attempting to leave the country via the Seme border. The source added that his detention at the FCID is for safekeeping, pending further directives regarding his case.

The source further disclosed that Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday night, following his arrest by immigration officials at the Seme border. He is currently being held in custody while authorities await further instructions.

The spokesperson for the FCID Annex in Lagos, Aminat Mayegun, confirmed Bobrisky’s detention, stating briefly over the phone that he is in their custody and that a remand order would be sought to keep him detained.

In a related development, a statement released on Monday evening by Kenneth Udo, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Immigration Service, described Bobrisky as a “person of interest” due to recent public concerns. The statement clarified that Bobrisky was intercepted by immigration officials at the Seme border while attempting to leave the country, and that he is undergoing interrogation. He will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
