President Bola Tinubu has departed the United Kingdom for Paris, France, to continue his annual leave. This information was shared by Ibrahim Masari, the Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, on Saturday.
While in France, President Tinubu is expected to attend an important engagement, though the specifics of this event were not disclosed.
Tinubu initially left Nigeria on October 2nd for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, which is part of his regular annual leave. His departure came shortly after delivering a speech on October 1st in commemoration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day.
During the address, he announced plans for a 30-day conference aimed at engaging the youth and including them in his administration’s decision-making process.
Earlier, Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Media, had confirmed the president’s vacation plans, stating that Tinubu would be away for two weeks as part of his yearly leave.
Following his time in the UK, Tinubu has now moved to Paris for the next phase of his vacation.
