A prominent political stakeholder from Anambra North and the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commended the governor for his significant impact on the zone, particularly in the healthcare sector.

In an interview with NewdayReporters, Chief Obiefuna highlighted that Anambra North has been the greatest beneficiary of Soludo’s healthcare policies since his administration began.

Speaking after a personal evaluation tour of several general hospitals under construction across the senatorial zone, Chief Obiefuna stated, “I say this everywhere, and I still maintain that Anambra North is the highest beneficiary of Soludo’s healthcare drive in the State.

“Imagine the Governor giving us five brand-new general hospitals in his first two years in office. This demonstrates that the Governor has the well-being of the people of Anambra North at heart and is dedicated to addressing the critical challenges we face, particularly in access to quality healthcare and road infrastructure.”

Chief Obiefuna further urged all stakeholders, residents, and individuals from Anambra North in their large numbers to support Governor Soludo’s administration as it works toward fulfilling its mandate to the people of the State.

He emphasized that the Governor is performing exceptionally well, and it is the duty of the people to back his efforts.

Governor Soludo’s commitment to healthcare is evident in the construction of five new general hospitals in Anambra North. Among these, the Okpoko General Hospital has been completed, while the Fegge General Hospital is nearing completion. Construction is also ongoing for the Aguleri Otu General Hospital, the Anaku General Hospital, and the Oromaetiti General Hospital.

While Soludo’s healthcare initiatives have been widely praised, there is still speculation about whether his administration has the political will to complete these ambitious projects before the end of his first term. Nonetheless, the ongoing construction of these hospitals signals a strong commitment to improving healthcare access for the people of Anambra North.
