Chief Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, the Managing Director and CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited, has officially launched the Onwa Nibo Chukwugozili (ONCG) Movement, a visionary initiative dedicated to improving the lives of citizens in Anambra State. This movement, according to Chief Orjiakor, is designed to adopt a comprehensive, holistic approach to uplift the living standards of the people through collective support and action.

In an interview with NewdayReporters on Teusday, Chief Orjiakor emphasized that the core mission of the ONCG Movement is to enhance the overall quality of life for Anambra’s residents by offering sustainable opportunities for economic growth, social empowerment, and personal development. The movement aims to foster an environment where citizens can thrive through a variety of supportive programs and initiatives.

Speaking on the Movement’s objectives, Chief Orjiakor highlighted the urgency of addressing unemployment and poverty by creating new job opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship. “Our primary focus is to generate employment and back entrepreneurial ventures, which will significantly reduce poverty and joblessness in the state,” he stated.

Additionally, the movement will implement vocational training and skill development programs to equip individuals with the tools they need to become more employable.

Chief Orjiakor also revealed that the ONCG Movement has a strong commitment to improving education in the region. The movement plans to ensure access to quality education for all, particularly the underprivileged, by offering scholarships and providing necessary educational resources. The initiative will also support lifelong learning, with adult education programs aimed at boosting literacy and skill acquisition among the older population.

Health is another key focus of the movement. Chief Orjiakor pledged that the ONCG Movement would work to ensure affordable and high-quality healthcare services are available to all residents. This will be achieved through the implementation of health awareness campaigns and preventive healthcare programs that will cater to the needs of both rural and urban communities across Anambra State.

Furthermore, the movement will champion social inclusion, promoting equal opportunities for marginalized groups, and fostering active community engagement in decision-making processes. Chief Orjiakor stressed that the ONCG Movement is committed to ensuring that all citizens, regardless of their background, have a voice and an opportunity to benefit from the movement’s various initiatives.

In addition to these efforts, the ONCG Movement will also focus on environmental sustainability, advocating for the protection of the environment and encouraging the adoption of renewable energy resources. The movement will also work towards improving infrastructure and living conditions within communities across Anambra State.

On cultural preservation, Chief Orjiakor emphasized that the ONCG Movement will take active steps to protect and promote the rich cultural heritage of Anambra. This will be done through events, educational programs, and community-driven activities that celebrate local traditions. Moreover, the movement seeks to foster cultural exchange and understanding among the diverse groups within the state, promoting unity and coexistence.

Another significant pillar of the ONCG Movement is the promotion of peace and security. Chief Orjiakor stressed the movement’s commitment to supporting conflict resolution and crime prevention initiatives. He revealed plans to collaborate with local authorities to address security challenges and ensure the safety of all citizens.

Youth and women empowerment will also be central to the Movement’s agenda. Chief Orjiakor expressed that the ONCG Movement will design and implement targeted programs aimed at empowering both youth and women, providing them with the resources and opportunities necessary for success. This will include initiatives addressing gender equality and fostering youth development across the state.

As the country continues to grapple with challenging economic conditions, the launch of the ONCG Movement has sparked widespread hope and excitement among the people of Anambra. Citizens are optimistic that this timely intervention will bring much-needed relief, succour and contribute to the overall improvement of their lives.
