Musa addressed the media regarding the ongoing protests in Nigeria, which began yesterday, and the subsequent hijacking by hoodlums who vandalized and looted properties.
He stated that the military is on high alert and fully prepared to intervene if the situation escalates.
This comes after the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, commended the National Council for Civil Society of Nigeria for not participating in the protests.
Abubakar highlighted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s various initiatives aimed at turning the economy around for the benefit of all Nigerians.
He noted that despite being in office for just one year, President Tinubu has made significant progress and expressed optimism that the positive results of these initiatives will soon become apparent.
