Sly Ezeokenwa The Only APGA National Chairman We Know, Others Mere Time Wasters – Onwa Nibo, Chief Orjiakor Backs Ezeokenwa, Berates Edozie Njoku, Cohorts

Chief Chukwuemeka Orjiakor, CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited, has expressed strong support for Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa as the legitimate National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He dismissed Edozie Njoku and his supporters as mere time wasters.

In an interview with NewdayReporters regarding the ongoing leadership dispute within APGA, Orjiakor emphasized that no individual can legitimately become the national chairman of a political party in Nigeria through mere court orders.

He clarified that the constitution requires a person to be validly elected at a national party convention monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Orjiakor stated, “The constitution is clear: if someone is claiming to be the national chairman based on obtaining court orders without fulfilling the primary conditions, it’s just a waste of time and creates a nuisance.”

He affirmed that, Sly Ezeokenwa is the validly elected national chairman of APGA, having been elected at the party’s National Convention.

Chief Orjiakor criticized the judicial system and INEC for allowing themselves to be manipulated for political mischief. He pointed out that INEC made an error by recognizing someone who, as he learned, is not even a party member as the national chairman of APGA.

He urged INEC to rectify this mistake promptly, stating that such misconduct should not be tolerated in the country’s Democracy.

Orjiakor praised Ezeokenwa’s leadership, highlighting his visionary approach and understanding of his role as the national chairman.

He noted several innovations spearheaded by Ezeokenwa, including the digitization of the party’s membership register, which he described as a historic accomplishment.

Orjiakor also commended Ezeokenwa’s initiatives with the APGA Next Generation, considering it as his greatest achievement so far.

He expressed disappointment that INEC had allowed itself to be used by detractors, stressing that Ezeokenwa does not need any distractions.

Orjiakor personally believes that under Ezeokenwa’s leadership, APGA will achieve its political goals.

“In my view, he is the national chairman; I don’t recognize any other. He will always have my support,” Orjiakor concluded.
