JUST IN: South East Youths Will Not Protest Against Hardship – Hope Uzodinma Assures Tinubu

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has expressed confidence that the youths of the Southeast will not participate in the planned national protest against President Bola Tinubu.

He described those organizing the protest as adversaries of Nigeria who aim to destabilize the national government.

Uzodinma made these remarks in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, during the grand finale of the campaign for the local government election conducted by the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Addressing the Southeast youths, Uzodinma stated: “We are on a trajectory of growth, and our adversaries are attempting to disrupt the national government.

This government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is our government. Therefore, no one from the Southeast will engage in any protest. We are not discontented; we have hope.

“Despite the criticisms, this government has been in office for less than a year.

“We acknowledge the current hardships and the difficult conditions, but I assure you that the President is making significant efforts to release funds to the public, enhance infrastructure, and improve food security. Follow your leaders and collaborate with them.”
