Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, the CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his mother-in-law, Her Royal Highness Queen Josephine Oyibo Okonkwo (Née Anajemba).
Née Anajemba was the wife of the first traditional ruler of Amansea, the late His Royal Highness Igwe Emmanuel Ofuora Okonkwo, known as Igwe Oranyelu Eze I of Amansea.
She was also the mother of His Royal Highness Igwe Kenneth Okonkwo (Igwe Oranyelueze II and Osuofia Amansea).
In a circular seen by NewdayReporters, Chief Orjiakor conveyed his grief: “It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing unto Glory of my beloved mother-in-law, Her Royal Highness Queen Josephine Oyibo Okonkwo.”
He continued by inviting friends and well-wishers to join the family in commemorating the life of his mother-in-law: “Please join us as we hold the burial ceremony to celebrate her life and honor the memory of Queen Josephine on 9th August 2024 at Okukwa Village, Amansea, Awka North LGA, Anambra State.
“Your presence and support during this difficult time would mean a lot to our family, and we would be grateful to have you by our side as we pay last respects and bid farewell to a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.” The statement read.
The statement underscores the family’s profound loss and the significant role Queen Josephine played in their lives and that of the community at large.
