No Amount Of Anointing Can Save You From Women, Sexual Sins – Pastor Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently emphasized the ongoing struggle against sexual temptations despite his spiritual calling.

Speaking at the Ministers and Workers Conference of RCCG Americas 1, Adeboye cautioned against the dangers of lust, drawing parallels with the biblical story of Samson’s downfall due to his weakness for women.

Adeboye, known for his practical teachings, stressed the importance of vigilance and fleeing from any appearance of sin.

He shared personal anecdotes, humorously mentioning that despite his age, he runs even faster now as he nears the end of his life journey, metaphorically underscoring the need for increased caution with advancing years.

Addressing the congregation, Adeboye debunked the misconception that spiritual anointing shields individuals from human vulnerabilities, citing the tragic example of Samson, whose great strength did not protect him from being ensnared by Delilah.

He admonished both men and women to remain wary of the allure of sexual temptation, regardless of their spiritual stature.

In a paternal tone, Adeboye reminded his audience that even at his advanced age of 82, temptations persist and should be swiftly avoided.

He warned against the deceptive smiles of women who are not one’s spouse, urging his listeners to flee from such potentially destructive situations to safeguard the integrity of their spiritual calling and the work of God in their lives.

“You can say, ‘Is anybody still interested in an 82-year-old man?’ She is not interested in you but interested in putting an end to all the great works God has done through you.

“You see that woman smiling at you everywhere you go, she is there smiling, and she is not your wife, run.”
