The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the electronic registration of its members across the nation will commence on Wednesday.
This initiative will be inaugurated by the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
This move follows the precedent set by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), which began their digital membership registration on June 1st.
It is noteworthy that NewdayReporters previously reported on APGA’s launch of their Digital Membership Registration, with the Anambra State Governor leading the registration in his ward in Isuofia.
In response, the APC disclosed in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, that their digital registration process is set to begin.
Morka announced that Dr. Ganduje will be joined by two ministers from President Bola Tinubu’s administration, along with other party leaders, for the opening of the ‘Train the Trainer’ Workshop scheduled to take place in Abuja.
The two ministers accompanying Dr. Ganduje are Chief Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, and Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
The statement partly read: “In furtherance of the All Progressives Congress’ trailblazing commitment to digitalize its membership register in all its chapters across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the National Chairman of our great party, His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, cordially invites party leaders, members, and the general public to the opening ceremony of the ‘Train the Trainer’ Workshop.”
