Reintroduced National Anthem Was ‘My Priority’ – Tinubu Tells Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has defended his decision to reintroduce the old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee,” stating that it holds significance to him.

Despite facing criticism, Tinubu emphasized the anthem’s importance during a meeting with the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He acknowledged that while some may question its priority, he views it as essential.

Tinubu also stressed the need for national unity, highlighting Nigeria’s diverse population as a unique strength.

He urged Nigerians to embrace their identity as one family, regardless of ethnic or regional differences.

Tinubu emphasized the role of God in determining one’s place and identity, underscoring his commitment to serving Nigeria as a whole, rather than focusing on individual affiliations.

He concluded by echoing the anthem’s plea for a nation free from oppression and blessed with peace and prosperity.
