Seun Kuti, a controversial Afrobeat musician, has made the bold assertion that women are more unfaithful in relationships and marriages than men.
He contends that the widespread belief that men are the primary cheaters is mere propaganda.
Kuti shared his views on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ Podcast, which is co-hosted by reality TV star Tolanibaj and actress Moet Abebe. He stated, “Society has propagated the idea that only men cheat, but in reality, women cheat more than men.”
In response, the podcast hosts expressed their disagreement, saying, “We don’t agree!”
Kuti continued, arguing, “There is a propaganda out there suggesting men are more unfaithful, but the truth is that women cheat more.
Even in the Bible, Joseph’s master’s wife tried to cheat on her husband with Joseph, and when he refused, she falsely accused him of rape. Can you point out any man in the Bible who cheated on his wife?”
He concluded by suggesting that both men and women are equally unfaithful and advised men not to naively believe they are the only ones being unfaithful in their relationships. “If you think you’re the only unfaithful one in your marriage or relationship, you’re living in a fantasy. If your partner isn’t leaving the house, and you’re certain she’s home 24 hours a day, start scrutinizing everyone in the vicinity,” Kuti said.
