Divine Rays British School founded in 2017 by Reverend Father Emmanuel Chibuzor Obimma (popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso), located in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has emerged as the top-performing institution in the recently concluded 2024 National Mathematics Competition, spanning across designated states in Nigeria.
The competition, organized by Catalyst Consulting, encompasses all primary and secondary school levels, categorizing participants into lower primary, upper primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary divisions.
The annual event serves as a platform to assess and showcase students’ mathematical abilities and knowledge.
Notably, Divine Rays British School excelled in the primary section, represented by its talented pupils: Okonkwo Chiziterem, Ezievuo Kosiso S., Nwabueze Chikamso S., Okoye Emmanuella C., Okonkwo Amarachi J., and Uche Chiemerie Victoria. These exceptional students clinched six gold medals at the tournament.
The Headmistress, Mrs. Ifeoma Ucheama, expressed profound joy and pride in the school’s achievement, attributing it to the dedication and hard work of both the learners and the coaching staff.
