RAPTURE PROPHECY: Nigerian Prophet Who Predicted The World Will End On The 25th Of April 2024, Says God Pardoned The World After He Fasted On Behalf Of Everyone For 21 Days

Self-proclaimed preacher, Prophet Metuh, who stirred up controversy by predicting that the world would end on Thursday, April 25, has come forward to explain why his prophecy did not come to pass.

Metuh had caused a commotion on social media when he claimed that God informed him during prayer that the world would end on April 25, 2024.

He emphasized that he saw the date clearly and heard it mentioned by God twice.

However, in a statement posted on his X account on Saturday, Metuh attributed the failure of his prophecy to God’s intervention after he and his followers completed a 21-day fasting and prayer period.

He tweeted: “The Lord showed us Mercy. After our 21-day fasting and prayer, he heard us and gave us more time to live. Prayer works #rapture2024 #rapture”

Despite his explanation, social media users had mixed reactions, with some questioning the logic behind the initial prophecy and others criticizing him for causing unnecessary fear and confusion among people.

Responding to Metuh’s explanation, an X user, Ebubedike, tweeted with the handle #chukuwu_io: “You got lucky that we’re no longer in the Old Testament. In the meantime, enjoy your Elon’s money.”

Vlad, who tweets as #AbiodunOmonijo, said, ‘So you were already on the 21-day fasting and prayer when you made the announcement, why were you so emphatic there would be rapture then? Does that make sense to you?”

Another user, Mazi Malek, on X.com, who identifies as #Maleek_Chukwu, commented, “Don’t just sit there idly. You want to tell us now that you completed 21 days of prayers within 8 days?? You’re lucky Saul has become Paul.”

A tweep, Youth President, who tweets anonymously as #admike007, added, “This is one thing I dislike about some Christians, always these so-called prophets trying to play games with the Almighty. Have some fear of God. Hm GOD isn’t your headmaster to be joking with.”

On X.com, Edmonton, who tweets anonymously as #Edmonto37803237, suggested, “You should be arrested for spreading false information and inducing fear into the hearts of many Nigerian citizens. You are a disgrace! Your
