Anambra Traditional Rulers has called on investors to feel free and secured to invest in the state.
The traditional ruler of Okpuno and Deputy Chairman Anambra State traditional rulers council, Igwe Sunday Okafor who represented the Chairman Anambra State traditional rulers Council, Obi Alfred Achebe and other traditional rulers made the call during the 2023 Anambra State investment summit held at the International Conference Center, Awka.

Igwe Okafor who applauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for transforming the state from Departure lounge to Investment destination explained that with the 2023 Annivest, for shared prosperity, more investors as well as Ndi Anambra will be free to invest in the state,as such according to the Royal fathers, will create employment opportunities for the teeming youths and reduce restiveness.
Other traditional rulers including, Dr Eric Onyimadu of Ukpor in Nnewi South, Igwe Bob Orji of Ezinifite Aguata beckon on investors and Ndi Anambra to embrace think home philosophy while Igwe Bob Orji promised to provide hectres of land for investors to build factories in his dormain in other to create job for the citizenry and reduce crime and other clandestine Activities.
Igwe Onyimadu on his part, wants investors to come and tap from their Kaolin which according to him can be used to produce tiles, Marble and breakable plates.
The traditional ruler of Nawfia, Igwe Daniel Obelle remarked that his Community Nawfia has Dry / Inland port for shipping services both for import and export and appealed to government to build internal roads to enable investors move their goods and services with ease
On their part, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam, Igwe George Ekwealor and his Ukwalla Counterpart, Igwe Joseph Ajodo also woo investors to come and reopen Oil and Gas industries in Anambra East and west while praying God to bless Governor Chukwuma Soludo for championing the cause of investment opportunities in the state.
The duo pointed out that the concept will make products manufactured in the state marketable and accessible to a wide consumers.
