Reactions as Big Brother Zambia sets for the screens

[ad_1]

Reactions have been trailing the reports that claimed that the Big Brother franchise is set for another African country, Zambia.

A viral video, shared by Tosin Silverdam, suggests that the show will soon hit the screens. The video, which has the alleged theme song for the reality show, got many talking online.

Many took to Tosin Silverdam’s comment section to express displeasure with the Zambian edition of the show.

Some claimed it would be worse than the just concluded Big Brother Titans, which featured Naija and Manzi housemates, while others claimed it could never match up with the standards of Big Brother Naija, which is second to none.

Big Brother Titans announcement

In September, PulseNG tweeted that the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice, John Ugbe unveiled the next plans for the Big Brother franchise show in Africa. According to the tweet, Big Brother Naija would merge with Big Brother South Africa in one house.

“Coming soon to your screen is the Big Brother Naija + Big Brother South Africa in one house”, John Ugbe, CEO @MultiChoice.

Reports which made rounds claimed the merging will feature past winners and other top housemates of the show.

Khosi wins Big Brother Titans

Kemi Filani recalls that Khosi Twala won the 11 weeks Big Brother Titans show.

Khosi, a 25-year-old South African journalist, carted away the $100 000 grand prize, including endorsement deals and fame.

For the first time, the franchise reality show paired only Nigerians and South Africans instead of the larger cast of African countries. It premiered in January 2023.

Khosi was born in Nata, Central District of Botswana.
