Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has issued a stern warning to his congregation about marrying individuals outside the church. He emphasized the benefits of his male members choosing to marry women within the church, stating that he would no longer attend the weddings of any members who marry women from other churches.
During a recent sermon, Suleman made this declaration, highlighting the prevalence of marital issues among members who chose partners outside the ministry. In a video that has since gone viral on social media, he said, “If you choose to marry someone outside this ministry, I will not attend the wedding because there are many eligible women within the church, and you’re looking elsewhere.”
He further explained, “While the wedding ceremony will proceed, I will not be present. In the last two months alone, 70% of the marital problems I have dealt with have involved members who married women from outside the church.”
This warning underscores his belief that members should prioritize marriage within the church community to avoid marital challenges.
