APGA National Chairman, Ezeokenwa Calls For Sacrifice And Love In Christmas Message

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sly Ezeokenwa, has called on Nigerians to adopt lives rooted in love, sacrifice, and compassion, drawing inspiration from the essence of Christmas, which symbolizes the ultimate gift of love through the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a heartfelt Christmas message conveyed through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tony Olisa Mbeki, Ezeokenwa encouraged Nigerians, particularly Christians, to reflect on and emulate the virtues of selflessness, forgiveness, and unity exemplified by Jesus Christ. He said, “Christmas serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing values such as love, peace, humility, and care for one another, as demonstrated by Christ.”

The APGA National Chairman further stressed the need for collective action to address Nigeria’s pressing economic and security challenges. He urged political leaders to prioritize the welfare of citizens and work towards creating an environment that guarantees safety, stability, and prosperity for all.

Ezeokenwa also expressed deep sorrow over the recent tragedies in Abuja, Ibadan, and Okija, where stampedes led to the loss of lives. Extending his condolences to the victims and their families, he stated, “Our thoughts are with the families mourning this Christmas due to these unfortunate incidents. We pray for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and the swift recovery of the injured. This season should serve as a reminder of our collective responsibility to care for one another and ensure safety during public events.”

Acknowledging the difficulties Nigerians currently face, Ezeokenwa urged citizens to remain hopeful and resilient, emphasizing that unity and shared effort are essential for building a nation founded on compassion, fairness, and justice. He highlighted that the true spirit of Christmas lies in spreading joy, demonstrating kindness, and extending support to one another.

The National Chairman extended warm wishes for a joyous and peaceful Christmas celebration to all Nigerians. He expressed hope that the season would inspire renewed optimism, strengthen bonds of unity, and pave the way for a prosperous New Year for the nation.
