The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Stelconic Properties Ltd, Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, recently paid a condolence visit to Ozzu Kingdom, Ndiukwuenu, in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. The visit was to commiserate with High Chief Dr. Henry Onwurah, the Igwe Nmenme of Ozzu Kingdom, over the demise of his brother, the Late Mr. George Onwurah.
In his condolence message, which was made available to NewdayReporters, Chief Orjiakor described the Late George Onwurah as a remarkable man who lived a life of love, compassion, and selfless service towards the development of Ozzu Kingdom. He extolled the virtues of the deceased, highlighting his positive impact on his community and those around him.
Chief Orjiakor further prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed, expressing hope that justice would prevail and all those involved in his death would not go unpunished.
As part of his humanitarian gesture, Chief Orjiakor announced the award of an educational scholarship to the first son of the Late Mr. George Onwurah. He assured the family that his foundation, the Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor Foundation (CENPOF), would sponsor the young boy’s education to any level of his choice. This, he noted, was to ensure the deceased’s legacy of love and service is carried forward.
In response, High Chief Dr. Henry Onwurah expressed deep gratitude to Chief Orjiakor for his words of comfort and generous gesture. He appreciated the educational scholarship offered to his late brother’s son and assured him that the rest of the family would be well taken care of. Chief Onwurah promised to ensure that they would not lack anything and would never feel the absence of their father.
Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor continues to make a significant impact on lives through his humanitarian efforts and his leadership initiatives under the Onwa Nibo Chukwugoziri Movement. Recently, he installed CCTV cameras across Nibo Community to support the government in combating insecurity. Additionally, he announced plans to empower youths and widows during a scheduled event on December 31, 2024.
