Finally, Man United Sacks Head Coach, Erik Ten Hag

Manchester United has officially dismissed Erik ten Hag as their manager, ending his two-and-a-half-year tenure at Old Trafford.

The decision was announced on Monday, following a disappointing start to the current season, which has seen United struggling in 14th place in the Premier League.

Ten Hag, appointed in April 2022, initially brought success to the club, securing two domestic trophies: the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. Over the summer, the club’s new co-owners, INEOS, had shown confidence in the Dutchman by extending his contract until June 2026.

However, despite the support, United’s poor form early in the season led to mounting pressure on Ten Hag.

Ultimately, the club decided to part ways with the 54-year-old former Ajax manager, citing the need for a change to address their inconsistent performances on the pitch.
