The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that candidates seeking to reprint their certificates will now be required to pay a fee of N50,000.
This was revealed by NECO Registrar, Dantani Wushishi, in a statement issued in Minna, Niger State.
According to Wushishi, the N50,000 fee is subject to periodic review, meaning the amount could change over time.
The council further clarified that requests for certificate reprints will only be accepted within one year of the original certificate’s issuance. After this one-year window, NECO will no longer entertain any requests for certificate reprints.
In addition to this reprinting policy, NECO has also introduced a one-month deadline for candidates to submit requests for the correction of any errors in their results.
