Deputy Chief Of Staff, Sir Ugochukwu Obiefuna Urges Anambra North To Support Governor Soludo, Cites Massive Infrastructural Development

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Chief Ugochukwu Obiefuna, has urged stakeholders in Anambra North to support Governor Soludo’s administration, citing the numerous benefits the constituency has received under his leadership.

In an interview with NewdayReporters on Saturday, Chief Obiefuna highlighted that Anambra North has been one of the major beneficiaries of Governor Soludo’s developmental leadership. He cited significant infrastructure improvements, particularly in areas like Onitsha and Anambra West, as evidence of the governor’s commitment to the region.

Chief Obiefuna remarked, “Our people in Anambra North must back Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s government, not for any superficial reason, but because he has made the development of our constituency a priority.

“It is crucial to acknowledge that since the state’s creation, no governor has undertaken more critical road projects for our people within their first two years in office than Governor Soludo. This clearly demonstrates his commitment to us. He did not demand our support before taking action; instead, upon assumption of office, he proactively addressed our most pressing challenges without delay, solving many of them in under two years.”

He continued by stressing the importance of supporting the governor, stating, “As a community, we must rally behind him to ensure continued progress. Governor Soludo deserves our unwavering support for showing genuine commitment to development in Anambra North and for translating that commitment into tangible results.”

Chief Obiefuna further called on the people of Anambra North to show solidarity with Governor Soludo and support his policies, so as to enable the governor to continue delivering democratic dividends to the constituency.

Still speaking, he extended his congratulations to Dr. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the governor, on receiving her chieftaincy title, “MMIRI GURU-EGU,” in Isuofia. He praised the recognition as both well-deserved and long overdue, commending the First Lady for her outstanding dedication to improving the lives of Ndi Anambra, particularly through her impactful and highly successful “Healthy Living Campaign.”
