Ogun First Lady Shares Food Stuffs To Widows, Others To Ease Hardship

In an effort to alleviate the economic hardship faced by residents of Ogun State, the wife of the state governor, Bamidele Abiodun, has initiated a distribution of bags of rice to vulnerable groups.

The beneficiaries of this gesture include women’s groups, widows, people living with disabilities, and others.

At the launch of the distribution exercise in Abeokuta, Mrs. Abiodun announced that the program would continue over the next few weeks, aiming to reach a wider audience.

She revealed that the First Lady of the Federation, Oluremi Tinubu, had generously donated bags of rice to all 36 states, demonstrating her commitment to supporting Nigerians during this challenging time.

Mrs. Abiodun emphasized the importance of supporting the most vulnerable members of society, including women, who play a vital role in both family and community.

She expressed her intention to identify additional groups in need of assistance and provide relief materials to them.

This initiative, she believes, will not only strengthen the economy but also promote peace and stability within communities.

Representatives of the beneficiary groups expressed their gratitude to both Mrs. Tinubu and Mrs. Abiodun for their kindness and thoughtfulness in extending this support to the less privileged in the state.

This gesture is seen as a timely response to the economic hardship faced by many Nigerians, and it is hoped that it will bring some relief to those in need.
