Controversial Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has stated that she is not looking for a new partner following her divorce from ex-husband Justin Dean. Instead, she is focusing on her financial independence.
During a recent episode of the ‘Heroe’s Diary’ podcast, Obidi, a mother of two, discussed her current priorities. She expressed that remarrying is not a concern for her at the moment and emphasized that she has “many boys” who meet her sexual needs.
She explained, “As a serious Nigerian woman, when I marry, the man becomes my entire life. Now, I’m channeling that energy into making money to avoid homelessness, which I experienced before. I know that no one is coming to save me as a knight in shining armor, so I need to concentrate on earning money.”
Obidi also criticized those who continue to link her to her failed marriage, pointing out that it has been over two years since her divorce. She made it clear that her focus is on building her financial stability rather than seeking a new romantic relationship.
“I want to make a public service announcement. I’m not the only person that got married in Nigeria. In fact, my marriage was not even public. All you people saw was one post on Instagram: ‘Korra is taken.’ You people are now carrying the marriage to tie my legs. It has been two years [since my divorce], please leave me alone. I am single as a dollar bill. And I am not searching. I have many boys that service me.”
