Aminu Jaji (APC-Zamfara), a member of the House of Representatives, has donated 3,000 rams to his constituents, executives, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as vulnerable households in Zamfara State.
This information was provided in a statement signed by Aliyu Abubakar, the State Chairman of Jaji’s Coordinating Committee, and issued in Gusau on Saturday.
Aminu Jaji represents the Kaura-Namoda/Birnin-Magaji Federal Constituency and serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Funds.
According to Abubakar, Jaji has also allocated N250 million for distribution to individuals, orphans, and vulnerable groups throughout the state as part of the Eid-el-Kabir welfare packages.
The statement highlights that Jaji’s constituency, encompassing Kaura-Namoda and Birnin Magaji Local Government Areas, will receive special packages including both rams and cash.
This annual gesture is intended to help Muslim faithful, especially APC members and less-privileged families, to perform sacrifices and celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival joyfully.
Beneficiaries include state, local government, and ward executives of the APC, party elders, prominent persons in the state, and former political office holders.
Additionally, former local government council chairmen, vice-chairmen, and former councillors, as well as APC associations, will benefit. Islamic scholars, orphans, youth, and women APC support groups are also among those who will receive the assistance.
Jaji urged Muslims to use the first 10 days of Zulhijjah and the Eid-el-Kabir period to intensify prayers for sustainable peace and stability in both Zamfara State and the entire country.
