ANAMBRA: ‘I Am Not Surprised, I Knew It Was Only a Matter of Time,’ Deputy Chief of Staff Sir Ugochukwu Obiefuna Speaks on ‘Best Governor in Infrastructure Award,’ Hails Soludo’s Impact

Sir Ugochukwu Obiefuna, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra State, has extended his warmest congratulations to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on receiving the prestigious award for Best Governor in Infrastructure and Rural Development.

In a congratulatory message to the governor, which was seen by Newday Reporters, Sir Ugochukwu said that he was not surprised by the recognition Governor Soludo has been receiving.

“He noted that having the privilege of working closely with the governor, he has observed firsthand the immense effort and dedication Soludo puts in every day to improve Anambra State. He believed it was only a matter of time before the governor received the national and global recognition he deserves.”

Sir Ugochukwu’s message highlighted the governor’s tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and mental investment in transforming the state. He stated, “This prestigious recognition is a testament to your tireless efforts, commitment to work, and the mental investments you put in every day towards transforming our state.”

As a resident of Anambra, Sir Ugochukwu has personally witnessed the significant developmental milestones achieved under Governor Soludo’s leadership across all 21 local government areas. These accomplishments, he noted, have spurred economic growth within the state. He continued, “I must say that Ndi Anambra are privileged to have you at the helm of affairs at this critical time in our country’s political history. You have shown that you have the people at heart and, above all, you have led by example.”

Chief Obiefuna reiterated his lack of surprise at the award, stating, “To be honest, I am not surprised by the news of this award because, being privileged to work closely with you and seeing the efforts you are putting in every day to see that this state realizes her magnanimous potentials, I knew it was only a matter of time before you begin to get the flowers you deserve.”

He also acknowledged the pride that the people of Anambra feel towards Governor Soludo and expressed gratitude for the numerous achievements made within the governor’s two years in office, particularly in human capital development that has positively impacted the youth. He added, “I want you to know that every Onye Anambra is proud of you, and we are all grateful for the numerous achievements within these two years, especially the human capital developments that have positively impacted our youths. Congratulations once again, it is a well-deserved accolade, and more is coming.”

It is worth recalling that just last month, the Deputy Chief of Staff had urged Anambra youths to take advantage of the various empowerment initiatives offered by the Soludo administration. He encouraged them to avoid social vices, including cultism, and instead, to embrace skill acquisition to avoid becoming nuisances in society.
