The Nigerian Senate has decided to delay the resumption of its plenary session from April 23, 2024, to April 30, 2024.
This decision was communicated through a notice issued by the Clerk to the Senate, Chinedu Akubueze, on Thursday in Abuja. The notice stated that the plenary session, originally set for April 23, 2024, will now take place on April 30, 2024, at 11 am in the main Chamber of the Senate.
Senators were informed of the change and any inconveniences caused by the postponement were apologized for.
This marks the second postponement since lawmakers in both the upper and lower legislative chambers commenced their Easter and Sallah recess.
