Dangote Petroleum Refinery has recently declared another price cut for diesel, dropping it from 1200 to 1,000 naira per litre.
This comes after the refinery previously lowered the price to 1,200 naira per litre three weeks ago, marking a significant decrease of over 30% from the previous market rate of around 1,600 naira per litre.
In an official statement released on Tuesday night, the organization highlighted that this substantial reduction in diesel prices is anticipated to have a positive impact across various sectors of the economy, potentially mitigating the high inflation rates currently affecting the country.
