Only Blind Nigerians Will Say That Tinubu Has Failed – Matawalle

Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, has strongly defended President Bola Tinubu against criticism from the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).

Matawalle dismissed NEF’s threat to vote against Tinubu in the 2027 elections, labeling the forum as a “political burden” and asserting that it does not represent the views of the entire Northern region.

He criticized NEF for its perceived interference in political matters and its failure to acknowledge the progress brought about by Tinubu’s government, particularly in the North.

Matawalle argued that NEF lacks credibility and is disconnected from the realities of Nigeria’s political landscape.

Matawalle highlighted Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election and emphasized that the North should be proud of its support for him.

He condemned NEF’s alleged regret for voting for Tinubu and reaffirmed the North’s commitment to its relationship with the president.

In conclusion, Matawalle asserted that anyone doubting Tinubu’s leadership is misguided and unable to recognize the positive changes occurring in Nigeria under his presidency.

He urged NEF to accept reality and support the development initiatives championed by Tinubu for the benefit of the entire nation.
