1- WHERE IS SAFE IN ANAMBRA? VALENTINE OZIGBO ASKED;
Izuchukwu Adichie replied: Even though Valentine Ozigbo was deaf and blind, he was aware that between 2020, 2021, and early 2022, no one could move freely in Anambra state. No political party was able to carry out their campaign activities, and when Soludo assumed office by March 17, 2023, about seven local governments, including Ogbaru LG, were completely taken by criminals and the administrative headquarters completely burnt down. Killings, kidnappings, and arson were the order of the day.
Today, those local governments have been reclaimed, and Anambra is now completely secured under Soludo’s administration through the determined efforts of security joint operations, the formation of Anambra central vigilante strike force, and the local government strikeforce, Community leaders, traditional institutions, church leaders, youth organizations, and individuals are not left out, too. For example, the 2023 Christmas season witnessed the most homecoming, including the Ukpor, Osumenyi, Osumogho, and Igboukwu, communities that were previously taken by criminals Recently, the Nigeria Army announced the clearing and reclaiming of Orlu-Orsumogho, the headquarters of criminals.
2- WHAT IS SOLUDO DOING TO MAKE THE ANAMBRA ECONOMY COMPETITIVE? VALENTINE OZIGBO ASKED;
Izuchukwu Adichie replied: Currently, the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council has ranked Anambra State as number one among the seventeen southern states and number five in the country. A feat no former Anambra governor achieved. Soludo’s administration has also been recognized as a leader in technology and innovation through peer review awards. In the 2023 Peer Review of the National Innovation and Digital Economy Council, Anambra secured four prestigious awards in Kano State in recognition of excellence in digital economy, infrastructure, e-government, and human capital development. In the Solution Innovation District, Anambra’s silicon has trained and impacted about 65,000 ndi Anambra. The One Youth – 2 Skills program has compulsorily trained and empowered 5,000 youth with a second batch on the way. The Anambra industrial parks are underway with their feasibility studies completely done and certified.
3- WHAT HAS SOLUDO DONE IN OKPOKO, ONITSHA, OMAMBALA, AWKA NORTH, AND AWKA CAPITAL? VALENTINE OZIGBO ASKED:
Izuchukwu Adichie replied: Valentine Ozigbo has truly shown he is not just blind but a bitter soul who is not happy about the current progress Anambra state is making under Soludo’s administration. Is Ozigbo blind to the regeneration of Okpoko, Ekwulobia, Nnewi, Onitsha, and Awka the state capital? Is he deaf to the testimonies of Onitsha traders that their customers are now back from different parts of Nigeria and even West Africa because Soludo has chased touts (agbero) out of markets or is he living on the moon and hasn’t recently driven around the aforementioned places? Unfortunately, he wouldn’t be making political promises in 2025 because Soludo has solved almost all the Anambra problems. Maybe Ozigbo is not aware that Soludo is building general hospitals in Anaku- Ayamelu, Okpoko- Ogbaru, Fegge – Onitsha South, Aguleri Otu – Anambra East and has upgraded Umueri, Enugwu-Ukwu, Ekwulobia general hospitals while rehabilitating the 326 primary healthcare centers in the state and currently, Anambra state is ranked second only to Lagos state on the least mortality rate in Nigeria. Tell Ozigbo that Soludo has cleared the 18-year Ochanja Roundabout refuse dump site, and he is currently transforming the place into a water fountain. Floods, no longer carry children in Onitsha nor displace traders and homes.
4- SOLUDO IS DOING A FEW KILOMETERS OF ROADS THAT WERE 60% COMPLETED BY HIS PREDECESSORS: VALENTINE OZIGBO LIED.
Izuchukwu Adichie replied: Soludo was able to win the governorship election in 2021 because he was frank in accepting that Anambra state has a road crisis and a dearth of road infrastructure across the state. Ever since then, Soludo has awarded a total of 450 km of roads and has asphalted about 247km on average of 10 km of road per month for the 24 months he has been in office. These are never-seen-before solid, quality, and durable roads in Anambra, aligning with Bishop’s plea to Soludo to build only Ngige standard of road which the former Anambra governor Chris Ngige has affirmed that Soludo’s road infrastructure is better and more reliable.
Yes, Soludo is constructing new strategic roads for communities that haven’t seen tarred roads since their creation and are economically important to the state. He is also reconstructing deplorable roads and maintaining existing old roads. By the end of this year, he must have built a total of kilometers of roads built by his entire predecessors. I want to challenge Valentine Ozigbo to mention one road that was even 5% done by Soludo’s predecessors and was recently commissioned by Soludo. I don’t want to say that Ozigbo is having a crisis of conscience. But he should just stop being a desperate and pathological liar.
5- WHY CAN’T SOLUDO DO IT LIKE PETER OBI AND ALEX OTTI? VALENTINE OZIGBO ASKED.
Izuchukwu Adichie replied: Valentine Ozigbo should wake up and smell the coffee. While I don’t want to compare HE Alex Otti, who is doing well for his state, Abia, it is highly laughable for Ozigbo to compare Soludo’s two years in office with that of Otti’s 9 months. There are no indices to do so, and therefore, I will leave it blank.
Valentine Ozigbo should be told that Anambra state, after 33 years, will have its government house and governor’s lodge situated in Awka, the state capital. He should also note that no Nigerian governor, both past and present, has employed 8,000 teachers, 1,000 health workers, 2,000 vigilantes, and 3000 employed in ARMA, ARTMA, SASA, and ACDTA in their first 8 months in office. Is Valentine Ozigbo not aware that Soludo has reactivated the Anambra water scheme, which was left to ruin for almost 20 years? And has settled out of court, the 14 years old lingering issues of Anambra State Environmental Protection Agency – ANSEPA and Water Corporation? Well, in case he is not aware of the litany of Soludo’s achievements, he must have heard that pregnant women in Amesi community and Anambra state are giving birth free of charge in government-owned hospitals and every child born in Anambra now go to school free of charge without paying a dime.
Before I forget, Soludo is also building a road that leads to Ozigbo’s parents house in Amesi, so even if Ozigbo denies everything, he will always drive to his father’s house through Soludo’s solid and durable road or is Valentine Ozigbo a kleptomania? We all know that Ozigbo is a lightweight, lesser than a featherweight politician in Anambra state. He should be preparing to spend his youthful years in political exile and should know that Soludo will win him again in his Amesi ward 1 in 2025 once he declares to seek his second term re-election. We wonder why he systematically removed his plea for one term in his video? Valentine Ozigbo, why?
