APGA National Chairman, Ezeokenwa Joins Anglican Mothers In Celebration Of Mothering Sunday, Hails Impact Of Mothers In Societal Development

Onitsha, Anambra – In an emotive tribute to the quintessential role of mothers in society, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand 9kktoday, joined families and community members at St. John Anglican Church, Fegge, Onitsha for a special mothering Sunday celebration which was a reflection of a community united in celebrating the indispensable contributions of mothers to societal development and family nurturing.

In his address, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, accompanied by his amiable wife, Mrs Amara Ezeokenwa, lauded the unyielding spirit of mothers and their pivotal role in molding future generations. “Mothers are the bedrock of our society, their love, guidance, and sacrifice shape the future of our children and by extension, our community,” stated Barr. Ezeokenwa. He emphasized the need for societal support to ensure that mothers are celebrated, respected, and empowered to continue their invaluable contributions.

Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa seized the occasion to reiterate APGA’s commitment to championing policies and initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of women and mothers in Nigeria. He stressed the importance of creating an enabling environment for mothers to thrive as leaders, professionals, and caregivers.

The celebrations at St. John Anglican Church, Fegge, were marked by an array of activities that included heartfelt prayers for mothers, soulful musical renditions, and a match-past all designed to highlight the theme of appreciation and gratitude for mothers.
