The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa has called on president Bola Tinubu to revisit the call for state police in tackling the security challenges bedeviling the country.
Ezeokenwa, said this on Wednesday while addressing the leadership of ‘APGA Next Generation’.
According to the youth friendly party chairman, the police architecture in the country has failed to address the rising security challenges in the country, hence a review might be all that is needed to address the country’s worsening security issues.
The party chairman suggested that the President Bola Tinubu, adopt State Police as it appears to be the only viable option to salvage the security condition of the country.
Still speaking, Barr. Sly assured young people of his determination to reposition the party to their favour. He called on all young people across the country to join the party, assuring them of a bright future in APGA.
The party’s national chairman also announced that in few weeks, APGA digital registration portal will be launched and opened for all.
He added that the party is poised to rejig its manifesto to be in sync with the demands of the 21st century.
