The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has recommended Governor Soludo’s people-oriented budget draft as presented to the Anambra State House of Assembly to all the states in Nigeria and to the world, insisting that the budget draft reflects what APGA is and will forever be. Ezeokenwa remarked, “The budget, aptly themed “CHANGING GEARS: THE TRANSFORMATION AGENDA BEGINS,” serves as a testament to Governor Soludo’s unwavering commitment to manifesting APGA’s ideology and delivering a people-oriented budget for the fiscal year 2024.”

Equally worthy of commendation is the allocation of resources within the budget. With N96.2 billion (23.46%) dedicated to recurrent expenditure and N313.9 billion (76.54%) allocated to capital expenditure, Governor Soludo underscores his commitment to infrastructural development, economic growth, and improved service delivery.
The significant increases in key sectors such as administration (50.85%), the judiciary (72.9%), social development (60.24%), education (140.88%), health (169.55%), and infrastructure investment (119.84%) demonstrate Governor Soludo’s steadfast dedication to transforming Anambra State.
