The CEO Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, has praised Governor Soludo’s people-oriented budget draft presented to the Anambra State House of Assembly this week.
Chief Orjiakor said this in an interview with NewdayReporters on Wednesday.
According to Orjiakor, “The budget, tagged “CHANGING GEARS: THE TRANSFORMATION AGENDA BEGINS,” reflects in it’s wholesomeness Governor Soludo’s unrivalled commitment towards delivering a people-oriented governance as contained in the budget for the fiscal year 2024.”
“The Governor has shown exemplary leadership and dedication to the development and welfare of the good people of Anambra State. This of course we have seen in his carefully crafted budget draft that captures his administration’s vision of a prosperous and liveable Anambra.”
Chief Orjiakor also hailed Governor Soludo’s prudent approach as reflected in the budget draft which gave priority to the major needs of Ndi Anambra.
He further commended the allocation of resources within the budget. With N96.2 billion (23.46%) dedicated to recurrent expenditure and N313.9 billion (76.54%) allocated to capital expenditure, with this the Governor shows his commitment to massive infrastructural development which is the bane of any economic transformation.
There’s also significant increases in key sectors such as the judiciary (72.9%), social development (60.24%), education (140.88%), health (169.55%), and infrastructure investment (119.84%).
