The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has expressed delight over the recent ruling by the Appeal Court on the ABA North/South federal constituency. The Court of Appeal in Lagos, today, dismissed the appeal brought forward by the candidate of Labour Party, Hon. Emeka Nnamani against the tribunal judgement, which had earlier declared the candidate of APGA, Hon. Alex Ikwechegh as the duly elected Representative for the Aba North & Aba South Federal Constituency.
The decision by the Appeal Court serves as a confirmation of Hon. Ikwechegh’s victory and reaffirms the credibility and fairness of the electoral process. It speaks volumes about the dedication and hard work of the elected Representative, exemplifying his commitment to serving the interests of the constituents.
Barr. Ezeokenwa extends his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Alex Ikwechegh, colloquially known as “Onye Ocha na Aba,” on this significant achievement. The National Chairman firmly believes that APGA’s continued success in representing the people, such as this recent victory, reflects the party’s competence and integrity.
The National Chairman emphasized that APGA remains the pride and identity of its members, supporters and Nigerians. This ruling not only strengthens the party’s position but also serves as a testament to its unwavering commitment to good governance, transparency, and democracy.
APGA remains resolute in its mission to serve the people, uphold democratic values, and bring development to our great nation.
