Popular Nollywood actor, Kelechi Udegbe survived a car accident on Sunday.
The actor took to his Instagram page on Sunday night to share photos of his badly damaged vehicle and a video of himself recovering at a medical facility.
In the shared images and videos, the vehicle appeared to be severely damaged, with the rear tires suspended in the air and the bonnet split in half.
The windshield was also shattered due to the impact of the accident.
One of the clips also showed the actor in a hospital bed with a neck brace. Fortunately, Udegbe sustained only minor injuries and is on the road to recovery.
He wrote: “With immense gratitude to God almighty, I write these words with a heart full of mixed emotions.
“I was involved in a ghastly accident that almost altered the course of my destiny in almost the blink of an eye, but God, the MASTER PERFORMER performed an unbelievable miracle & gave me a second chance at life,” he said.
Kelechi acknowledged that the accident could have drastically changed the course of his life in an instant but attributed his survival to divine intervention. Despite suffering minor injuries, he expressed optimism about returning to work soon.
“I made it out of the accident alive but suffered minor injuries. I’m in good shape and will be back to doing what I enjoy doing best on your screen in a couple of days.
“This post is for everyone who believes in God. This post is for everyone whom my unforeseen challenge has affected.”
