The CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor, has backed Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his recent call for the Church to support the government in making life easy for the masses by making mission schools affordable for the poor.
Chief Orjiakor said these during an interview with NewdayReporters on Sunday.
Speaking, Hon Orjiakor said “I support what the governor said. Everybody have to do their bit to ensure we make life easy for the poor living amongst us.
“No sacrifice is too much in this case. I believe God will be happy in heaven if all the churches decide to unanimously reduce their school fees so that the common man on the street can afford to send his child there to get quality education.
“For me, this statement showed the humane and compassionate side of Mr Governor which we have already seen with his decision to make education in public schools free for all.” He concluded.
It can be recalled that Governor Soludo, had on Saturday called on the Church in Anambra State to consider the sufferings of the poor and reduce the school fees of the various Mission Schools such that the poor can afford it.
