The CEO of Stelconic Properties Limited Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor has extended praise to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for naming the Anambra International Airport After legendary writer, Chinua Achebe.
Hon Orjiakor joins the long list of people such as former governors Chris Ngige and Peter Obi to commend the Governor for this popular action.
In his words, “What the governor has done with this singular action deserves commendation.
“Irrespective of political or religious affiliations, we all agree that Prof. Chinua Achebe did enough to deserve a honour of such magnitude.
“Kudos to the governor, there’s no better way to mark the country’s 63rd independence anniversary.” He told NewdayReporters.
It can be recalled that Soludo paid tribute to Achebe during an Independence Day ceremony in the state on Sunday.
The author of Things Fall Apart and Arrow of God, among other celebrated stories, passed away in 2013 at the age of 82.
