The Chairman of Stelconic Properties Limited, Chief Sir Chukwuemeka Nkem Pat Orjiakor has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his health care policies that has brought relief to Ndi Anambra.
The former deputy chairman, Awka South Local Council said this in an interview with NewdayReporters on Wednesday.
Hon. Orjiakor said that he is elated with the governor’s decision to improve Anambra’s health care in addition to the free delivery and other health services which he believes would help cushion the effect of the current country-wide hardship prevalent in the country.
He asked pregnant women in the state to take advantage of the governor’s kind gesture but cautioned health workers against the abuse of the opportunity.
Hon. Nkem Orjiakor advised health workers to ensure that the governor’s good intentions for pregnant women are not sabotaged but implemented to the later.
It can be recalled that Prof. Charles Soludo had earlier assured ndi Anambra of a free Antenatal Care and Delivery Services for women and families across the state.
Gov. Soludo said this while launching the free antenatal care and delivery for expectant mothers in Anambra State.
He described the gesture as part of his government’s palliative measures to cushion the effect of hardship on the public. The launching was held at the Nnobi General Hospital, Idemili South Local Government Area.
It is believed that the new policy would be implemented at all the government health facilities in the state.
