Just In: Anambra State Government Pre-launches Commencement of Made in Anambra Export Products

Anambra State Government has pre-launched commencement of made in Anambra Export Project with state commissioners, captains of industry and other stakeholders in attendance, NewdayReporters has details.

In an address, the state commissioners for Industry, Mr.Christian Udechukwu explained that the pre launch was aimed at kick starting the Campaign for some of the leading industries in the state to commence strategic export to Fifty four African Countries pointing out that local manufacturers in the state will be encouraged to key into the policy which will enable them to export freely into Africa and beyond.

 

Commissioner Udechukwu said that Governor Soludo is Championing the cause of Industries in the state to ensure that manufacturers in the state benefit from the large African Market, which is being supported by some banks and development financial institutions.

He encouraged captains of Industries to key into the policy of state government as most commercial Banks in the Country have already keyed into the programme because of the inherent benefits which according to him was geared towards exporting Anambra brand to the world and commended Governor Soludo for developing the industrial sector.

Adding her voice, the wife of the chairman Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Lady Ada Chukwudozie launded the efforts of the organisers towards ensuring that industrialiss in the state tapped into the $ 3.4 trillion African Market, a feat that has never happened according to her and promised that better days await Ndi Anambra industrialists as Governor Chukwuma Soludo champions the cause of Economic Development.

Lady Chukwudozie urged the entrepreneurs and industrialists to key into the policy of the state government towards ensuring that the state take it’s pride of place in making Anambra a prosperous homeland.

Contributing, the President of Anambra State Chamber of Commerce and CEO PAX Pharmacy, Pharm Uche Akpakama applauded the Governor Soludo for the innovation, pointing out that Anambra use to be the industrial and Commercial Hub of South East and called on government to make the environment more safe for businesses to strive.

He urged industrialists to do things right to enable them export their products with ease.

Responding, some of the participants ,the state Chairman Nigerian Association of Small and media Enterprises urged government not to neglect small and medium businesses while the MD / CEO fisheries and Aquaculture Businesses Development Agency (FABDA) Anambra State, Mr Emeka Iloghalu called on government to create and develop fisheries and Aquaculture Businesses Development Agency to give room for industrialization of fisheries and Aquaculture Sectors among others.
