US-based Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has been left in awe of singer, Davido’s music career.

Taking to his Instagram page to share a flyer of the singer announcing his meet and greet with Puma in Ikeja, Lagos, Speed Darlington wondered how Davido continues to maintain his career.

Taking a swipe at him, he stated that it amazes him how Davido continues to have a career despite lacking talent.

“I don’t know how you manage to maintain a career. Your lack of talent amazes me yet you have a career”.

Speed Darlington’s remark could be due to the several records the music superstar has broken.

Davido’s album, Timeless becomes the first African album to make history in the US

Since his return to the spotlight following the loss of his son, Davido has been making a massive wave in the industry.

The singer released his album, Timeless in March, which has broken records.

Just days back, Timeless was declared the first African album in history to reach number 1 on US iTunes.

The good news was disclosed by Chart Data.

Davido beats Wizkid, Burna Boy, and others as his new album breaks record in the US

Also, the “Stand Strong” singer had beaten his colleagues, Burna Boy and Wizkid to clinch the title of the highest charting album in the US.

According to chart data, Timeless is now the highest charting album by a Nigerian artist in US Apple Music history.

“Davido’s Timeless is now the highest charting album by a Nigerian artist in US Apple Music history (#3)”.

Also, Timeless is number one in the UK, Ghana, Netherlands, and Nigeria.

To top it off, Timeless now has the biggest first-day streams on Spotify.

Timeless number one on US iTunes.

Speed Darlington slams Tiwa Savage for addressing leaked s3x tape in new song

Last year, Speed Darlington slammed songstress, Tiwa Savage for addressing her leaked sex tape in her new song.

Tiwa Savage in a song titled ‘Loaded’ featuring Asake, revisited her 2021 sex tape scandal.

Revisiting her leaked sex video, the then 42-year-old single mum of one sang that the scandal cannot ruin her life.

“They planned against me, but sex tape can’t ruin my life,” she sang in Yoruba in the 2:49 seconds video directed by TG Omori.

A braless Tiwa further oozed her trademark sex appeal next to Asake in the video which was released on 8th November.

Reacting to the song, Speed Darlington slammed the songstress for addressing her leaked sex tape and dared her to release another sex tape and see if it won’t destroy her life.

Mimicking her, Speed Darlington said: “Sex tape ko ni ba aye mi je (sex tape can’t destroy my life). Na wetin this girl dey sing wetin be her name? Tiwa Savage… sex tape ko ni ba aye mi je. E go ba aye e je (it will destroy your life). Do more, release more make we see if e no go ba aye re je (release more sex tape lest see if it won’t destroy your life)”.
