Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye has been left in awe after bagging 3 nominations at 2023 AMVCA.
The comic act had bagged nominations got Best Actress in a Comedy, Best Online Social Content Creator, and Best Actress in a Drama.
Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, Bimbo Ademoye reflected on her journey as she noted how her ‘Iya Barakat’ personality which started as a joke has taken her to greater heights.
Bimbo, who has been under the weather following her trip to Cape Town, revealed that she woke up to her phone on fire.
Overwhelmed with the love she received from her fans and lovers, she appreciated them.
“I’ve been a little under the weather. Cape Town cold no be here. So I went to bed early last night. Woke up this morning with my phone on fire. Thank you @africamagic for the nomination.
Most importantly, thank you to every single one of you for all the love you have bombarded me with. Most of you would say “If Bimbo dey d feem I no dey watch’. Like what have I done to deserve you? What exactly?

Skitmaker Kiekie reintroduces herself as she bags 3 nominations at 2023 AMVCA
Earlier on, Kemi Filani reported that skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori better known as Kiekie had reintroduced herself to the world after bagging 3 awards at the 2023 AMVCA.
On Sunday, Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards released its 9th edition nominee, and Kiekie who had made the list bagged 3 nominations.
The mum of two was recognized for her work in Fake Alert with Mercy Johnson, and Back From the Future with BBNaija’s Elozonam. Kiekie had also bagged a nomination for the best online social content creator.
Taking to her Instagram page to share the good news, Kiekie expressed her gratitude to the award organizers.
She expressed how excited she is that her work didn’t go unnoticed.

Toyin Abraham teary-eyed bags 3 nominations
Also, beloved screen goddess and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi bagged 3 nominations.
An excited Toyin Abraham revealed that this is the first time a movie produced by her, will be nominated for the award.
Her movie, Ijakumo has been nominated in the Best Cinematography category, Best and Best.
Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, Toyin expressed gratitude to God as she noted how one’s hard work always pays off in the end.
The big win for the movie star is coming two years after she was ignored.
